Liza has worked in the fashion industry for ten years, and had a background in the arts prior to coming to work for Lullabot 5 years ago.

She believes in ‘Openness in business’

Use business to do good in communities!

Knowledge is collective tradition

Keep seeds (ideas) open, open pollenated seeds, can be saved generation after generation, open-source knowledge is a way of spreading such seeds

1) What is open?

Open is one of the five key straits that describes human’s persinalality

So… create then capture!

Make mistakes

Making mistakes is a key part of Lullabot culture

Angie (webchic) had an epic mistake - MTV UK – drupal site – entering data – Lullabot’s solution – Angie becomes the ‘data entry expert’!

Liza was doing a work contract in negotiating hotel rooms, rooms were overbooked and company was charged $17,000 for rooms that were not used!

Talent is rare, management’s job is to make it safe so that the truth can be told.

Lullabotism

In a culture in where you can own up to your mistakes, you can make your company culture fun!

Liza was nicknamed by a client ‘the velvet hammer’ because over time she has had to say ‘NO’ alot to get the job done

No bad clients

Mean people suck

When you filter your clients and business by this process, you have alot of open space – we give our knowledge away!
